Two competitors of Pennine Stone, Elegant Stone (Halifax) Ltd and Priory Cast Stone Ltd, went into liquidation in May. As a consequence, many of their customers were left without a cast stone supplier - a real problem for those that were at the start or in the middle of a large project...
Pennine Stone has stepped into the breach, making concerted efforts to satisfy the needs of those customers. We have employed a number of former Elegant and Priory employees including staff, production operatives and mould makers. Pennine has also purchased some assets from the liquidator in order to be well placed to provide on-going cast stone solutions to customers, both now and in the future.
In addition to a considerable increase in dry mix production at Pennine’s state-of-the-art Carcroft facility, there has also been a significant expansion of wet cast manufacturing. Everyone is working phenomenally hard to push extra work through the factory, whilst maintaining an excellent level of service to existing clients and introducing new customers to that same high level of service.

TecLite uses a fibre-reinforced mix to produce light weight products which look and behave exactly like traditional cast stone.
WetCast is a traditional wet mix material which is used to produce dense heavy duty, extremely robust products, ranging in size from small decorative items such as cills, heads and copings right up to large cornices, beams, columns and porticos.
